What are the differences between introverts and extroverts?

There are two types of personalities based on the way in which the individuals interact with one another. These are of course introverts and extroverts. There are some simple differences between the ways in which introverts and extroverts will express themselves and how they will interact with others.
Introverts will tend to prefer the company of smaller groups of people who they get to know very well. They often think before they speak up and focus inwards. These individuals can find being around lots of people very energetically draining and they may look to take some time out on their own to recharge. Introverts can concentrate for long periods of time on the tasks at hand but can find it difficult to accept change.
Extroverts tend to be very outspoken and outgoing individuals. They love to be around people and in some cases the more the better. They will often talk through their issues and work scenarios out by talking about them. They find being around people recharging and prefer not to be left alone for long periods of time. They can become distracted very easily, but are more amenable to accepting change.
