The SEAT León, one of the three pillars of growth SEAT is updated. 2017 will release a slightly retouched aesthetic, more technological equipment, a new engine and a new finish.

SEAT has four straight years of growth. So far in 2016, it has already sold more than 321,000 cars and accumulates more than 30,000 orders SEAT Ateca. The Lion is another key brand models and updating serves to reinforce that success.

Do not touch what works

Aesthetically changes are very subtle, especially at the rear. In front, the grille is now a little more prominent and 40 mm wider. The full LED headlights are redesigned, while the fog -located in a new air intake are now functionally not about LEDs, like the rear lights. Finally, there are three new colors (red Desire, Purple and Blue Mystery Boheme) and two new wheel designs.

A new engine and a new finish XCELLENCE

By 2017, the Leon range will have a new finish, the XCELLENCE. So far, the range consisted of Reference (base), Style and FR finishes. The XCELLENCE is positioned next to the FR, as the finish that completes the range.

While the FR has a sporty touch, the XCELLENCE is comfort – oriented (includes keyless entry). FR SEAT estimates that XCELLENCE finishes and represent 50% of sales. The XCELLENCE finish is distinguished by its fully chrome grille and lower side windows chrome frames.
