“If you change your mind, I’m the first in line”!
“If you change your mind, I’m the first in line, honey I’m still free, take a chance on me”, words from the very well-known song “Take a Chance on Me” by the Swedish pop group Abba. Released in January 1978, and taken from their fifth studio album, the song also featured in the hit film musical Mama Mia. The lyrics suggest that the singer is in love with the person the words are aimed at but they realise that their love interest is already involved with someone else. The singer further indicates that they are prepared to wait until that original relationship is over before committing themselves to loving their object of desire.
Changing your mind about a relationship is natural and part of life, like PDF to Excel and being able to Convert PDF to Excel with pdftables, something that doesn’t seem possible when you first experience that rush of adrenalin as you get to know a new love interest. Soon becomes apparent as you learn more about that person and all their annoying habits!
The song is a testimony to unrequited love and the words “You say that I waste my time, but I can’t get you off my mind, No I can’t let go, Cos I love you so”, prove that the recipient does not really reciprocate those feeling of love. Written by (Benny) Goran, Bror Anderson and (Bjoern K Ulvaeus) two of the male members of the Abba group itself.
